7% IA state tax added to all purchase prices

Deposit $300 to hold your puppy pick – non refundable but transferable to another litter if needed upon discussion. If you back out without discussion we retain the deposit.

STOCK COAT: Price $1800-$2500 depending on the litter for non breeding rights.

LONG COAT Price $2500-$3000 for non breeding rights-

How do I purchase a puppy? Please contact us by phone 515 890 0281 or email prosmirage@yahoo.com please share what type of GSD you are looking for, what your living situation is like and your experience with Shepherds or other large breed dogs.
How does the process work? If we feel you are a good fit for a future puppy we will accept a $300 non refundable deposit. This is accepted by mailed check or Venmo/zelle payment and we request a full name, address, email, phone number to contact you about your puppy and fill out our sales contract. If we are unable to supply you a puppy on the litter you request, the deposit can be moved to a future litter.
What is included in the purchase price and contract? Puppy comes with AKC paperwork, current vet check, first set of vaccines, signed contract from buyer and seller with 28 month hip/elbow guarantee
Can I come visit the puppies? Absolutely! Around 5-7 weeks is the best time to meet and greet as temperaments begin to develop.
How do you handle “picks?” Right now we do first pick to first deposit received and down the line. Must be picked out by 7 weeks old so health papers and vet checks can be done for each puppy and state they are going to. We do want to help our buyers choose the right puppy for them so will provide as much insight and direction as we can to help aid in the best pairing possible.
What if I am “last” pick? There is NO last pick… we breed quality dogs, each puppy has the same genetics as the other puppy. There always has to be the last pup but remember, we breed sound minded German shepherds with correct form to function, personality and genetics. The last chosen puppy is no less quality than the first chosen!
After I have picked up my puppy, can I contact you with questions? Absolutely! We love our Valiant Shepherd family and want to forever support you and your beloved dog!
What if I want to breed my puppy in the future? We require interviewing and extensive discussion on your breeding plans before allowing breeding rights, breeding rights also come with a larger fee. Otherwise all AKC registrations come as limited/non breeding restrictions.
What should we expect on pick up day? We expect notice on time/day of pick up in advance. Puppy must be at least 8 weeks old for pick up. We provide vaccine records, AKC, contract, small baggie of dog food to go home with your puppy. Please bring a leash and collar for potty breaks on your way home.
