Before calling Valiant Shepherds earlier this year, I researched and/or talked to many different GSD breeders. For one reason or another, I crossed each one off my list. (Some didn’t listen to my needs. Some didn’t communicate in a timely manner. Some wanted $7000, the list goes on and on) Before I ended my first phone call with Valiant Shepherds, I was writing a deposit check and asking for the address to send it to. During that call, Ashley really LISTENED to what I was looking for. (A ‘standard’ female German Shepherd with a stock coat and low to moderate drive) She listened to my concerns about purchasing a dog via only pictures over the internet. She explained that she would send pictures and or videos as we requested. If the mom failed to conceive, our deposit would transfer to another litter. If we met the puppy and felt it wasn’t a good fit, there was no pressure. She invited my boyfriend and I to visit their facility anytime we wanted.
At all times we were provided with all the information and access that we could want. I don’t think it ever took her even an hour to respond to a message or voicemail. (there were a lot of them)
When we went to pick up our new baby, she didn’t rush us out. We were able to meet and interact with all of her dogs. (by the way they are all beautiful, friendly, and well mannered.) She sent us home with a folder including all the health information, our AKC registration papers, and a bag of food and a toy for our new puppy. She sent a text to make sure we made it home from our 5 hour drive. There is no doubt in our minds that she loves her animals and the job she is doing with them! I honestly can not say enough about how comfortable the whole experience has been. I am very Grateful to have found her!

From day 1, she has been so transparent and accommodative with us. We wanted to see the puppy before making a deposit and she didn’t hesitate at all. She truly cares for the well-being of her puppies and who they go to. It’s my first time owning a puppy and she has been so helpful to me as I embark on this new journey.
When I visited her dogs and puppies, they’re so respectful and calm. I couldn’t believe it. The first meeting solidified my decision to buy from Ashley. She always updated me with photos and his health and immunizations. I love it that she also desensitizes the puppies to the crate and have them in there a couple times before pick up. She helped me made my puppy’s first night an amazing transition. Only 1 night of crying and the rest was a breeze. Thank you for being so patient with me and questions.

He is soooooo smart and knows all his basic commands and heel at 11 weeks.
